Industry Good Funding Priorities:
Based on an extensive report commissioned jointly with Meat and Wool New Zealand, reviewing “Post-Harvest Research and
Development Needs of the New Zealand Wool Industry”, the Board has developed a strategy of “industry good” funding
priorities which are summarised below.

Funding Policy – The Organisation
- Where appropriate, will retain intellectual property generated from funding in relation to the proportion funded
- Will maintain an Intellectual Property Register and develop an IP management strategy
- Will not become commercially involved in areas that may compete with members’ interests
- Will favour research over commercialisation of new products from proof of concept.
